"Nativity" Ad Loses Support

"Our guidance was that this very prominently placed [Christmas] advertisement would not only be insensitive to the many people of different faiths who come to enjoy the market for its food and unique gifts, but also it would be contrary to acceptable advertising standards suggested to the many festivals holding events on Daley Plaza," Jim Law

People are so touchy. I mean, who would the nativity scene really offend?

Sorry I haven't been on in a while.

I just heard something about this, too.

It seems that the world's philosophy is this: "if there is a 1 percent chance that some minority religious group might be 'offended,' go ahead and offend Christians with certainty."
There really is a double-standard here. Do these people ever think of how Christians (and traditionalists in general) might be offended by the disproportionate equality given to any and every winter celebration, or the concerted effort to push Christ out of Christmas?
Then, of course, there's the discrimination issue.

Well, what are you doing? I'm the blog administrator, so I probably won't be able to tell you exactly what to do, but if you tell me what you've tried, perhaps I can help.

Lanna,

That quote is perfect. It sounds just like how Christians are treated.

The problem, Lanna and Kingdom Advancer, is that they have been indoctrinated with the idea that Christians are the "ruling class" that tries to rule over the "common people" with religion. Of course, it's completely ridiculous. Christians aren't in charge, that's for sure.

Thanks Austin, I thought it might.

Kingdom,
Well, maybe Austin can help cause I'm trying to do everything that I do for my other stuff and more, and nuffen!

Oh, My mom just said that the news said "Clear skies today!!!"

I hate 10 degrees weather. It's only going to get worse. By January, we'll have 10-20 below (easy.)

Unless you snowboard and ski, you can't stand the snow.

I'd like to learn, everyone else in town knows how!!! (Hi mom, hint hint) SNOW! yuck.

That's my own quote, but I like putting quotation marks around it anyway. ;)
